Hidden like a mystery in plain view, Dzo Jongo is one magical peak. Starting from leh, the takes you through the magnificent and beautiful Markha valley. This marvellous peak has been over shadowed by it much popular neighbours, kang-yatse -1, 6400m and kangyatse II,6250m, for much too long.
Explore the fantastic views of the Stok Kangri, Massive of Kang Yatse, mesmerising view changthang valley and distant Karakuram range. The peak lies at the head of the Markha Valley just next to Kang yatse peak. The Dzo Jongo has two Summites Dzo Jongo east and west. Enjoy the experience of lifetime with a non technical climb to the summits of the Dzo Jongo 6250m.
Itinerary
Day 1 Flying to Leh,
The rest of the day is free to relax and acclimatise to the altitude (11,485ft/3,500m). In the morning, we rest and in the afternoon we have a gentle walk around Leh Market and introduce with guide at Hotel
Day 2 Sightseeing to Monastery around leh
Today after breakfast we visit two Monastery, first we drive to Shey Palace after we walk to Thiksey Monastery around 30m
